Tai Chi & Iron Shirt Qigong (Chi Kung 氣功) Classes

Chi Kung Program consists of 10 classes 75 min. long running once a week. By the end of the series of 10 classes students will understand and be able to apply new Breathing Techniques, three Postures of Iron Shirt Chi Kung, Nine Postures of Tan Tian Chi Kung and Tao Yin (Taoist Yoga) exercises to strengthen immunity, revitalize the inner organs and glands, bones and muscles, and to switch the autonomous nervous system from the stress related "fight or flight" mode over to the restorative healing mode.

Qigong (Chi Kung 氣功) Program Objectives:

By the end of the series of 10 classes students will understand and be able to apply the following exercises:

- Warm Up Exercises

- Tan Tian Chi Kung exercises to bring and to restore more Chi in the Energy center of the body (Lower Tan Tian):

  • Rabbit
  • Crane
  • Bear
  • Eagle
  • Monkey
  • Buffalo
  • Horse

- Chi Kung Iron Shirt Postures:

  • Iron Bar
  • Golden Cup
  • Golden Phoenix

- Tao Yin Exercises
Taoist Yoga exercises to bring the balance between Yin and Yang energy and to calm down one's mind and recharge body.

Chi Kung Advanced Plus (Qigong 氣功) program starts on Thursday,
